Job summary

Ledcor is hiring a Senior Project Manager to deliver large-scale, multidisciplinary high-rise residential projects in Scarborough, Ontario. You will lead execution plans, manage budgets and schedules, liaise with designers and clients, and drive safety and quality across teams.

With 10+ years in major GC roles and a civil engineering background, you will coordinate across disciplines, manage risks, and ensure successful project delivery while building strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as Project Manager with a major general contractor on high-rise residential projects.
• Post-secondary education in civil engineering or related field is required.
• Experience managing full cycle construction projects within high rise residential and complex projects.
• PMP or relevant certification is desirable.
• Ability to plan and execute projects within budget and schedule constraints; familiarity with contract language.

Responsibilities

• Review contracts to understand timelines, budget, safety, quality, staffing, materials and equipment needs.
• Liaise with designers, technical teams and clients on technical aspects.
• Analyze project designs, reports and background information.
• Develop and implement execution plans for construction staging and workplans.
• Coordinate with discipline managers for sequencing and staging.
• Provide technical assistance and recommend construction methods and equipment.
• Manage quantity take-offs, bills of quantities and scope development for civil works.
• Oversee project execution to meet design, budget and schedule goals.
• Build and maintain client relationships with progress updates and communication.
• Monitor material and equipment usage and adherence to contracts.
• Oversee onsite activities, quality, productivity, progress and safety.
• Address roadblocks proactively and resolve issues.
• Implement and monitor safety programs.
• Manage RFI and field instruction requests.
• Prepare comprehensive progress reports.
