Job summary

Svante is seeking a Senior Project Manager in Burnaby, BC to lead pre-FEED and FEED studies and project development activities. You will guide cross-functional engineering and project teams to deliver Svante’s projects from initiation through completion, while maintaining HSEC leadership and strong client engagement.

The role requires 8+ years of PM experience, including 5+ years in engineering-related design or project management within industrial environments.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of project management experience, including 5+ years in engineering-related design or project management within industrial, engineering, construction, or technology environments.
• Strong experience managing multiple projects, complex scopes, budgets, schedules, resources, risks, contracts, and change orders.
• Experience leading pre-FEED, FEED, FEL2/FEL3, engineering, construction, commissioning, or project development activities, preferably with EPC/EPCM contractors and industrial clients.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills for stakeholder engagement at all levels.
• Collaborative, adaptable leader with strong HSEC leadership, commercial awareness, risk management, and matrix environment experience

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-FEED, FEED, and project development activities, ensuring safe, on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Establish and maintain plans for execution, construction, commissioning, scheduling, risk, and resource management.
• Build strong relationships with clients, EPC/EPCM partners, contractors, and Svante teams; act as primary project contact.
• Effectively manage financial performance, scope changes, contracts, risks, and change orders; implement mitigations.
• Foster a culture of HSEC leadership and continuous improvement across project delivery
