Job summary

TEEMA in Calgary is seeking a Project Engineer with 10+ years of oil & gas engineering experience to oversee design and deliverables on assigned scopes. The role requires strong technical depth in facilities and gas processing, and FEED/detailed engineering experience.

You will coordinate with vendors, ESPs, and internal SMEs; ensure safety and regulatory compliance; manage changes, costs, and schedules; and support fabrication, construction, commissioning, and start-up activities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of oil & gas engineering/project experience.
• Engineering degree with P.Eng registration or eligibility to register – P.L.(Eng) may also be considered.
• Strong gas processing/facilities experience with depth in facilities and process engineering.
• FEED + detailed engineering experience – pre- and post-FID.
• Multidisciplinary project engineering experience overseeing multiple disciplines, vendors/ESPs, cost, schedule and quality.

Responsibilities

• Oversee engineering design and deliverables for assigned project scopes.
• Ensure engineering meets safety, regulatory, code and quality requirements.
• Coordinate engineering service providers, equipment vendors, fabricators and internal SMEs.
• Review/approve engineering deliverables and provide input into Stage Gate packages.
• Lead technical scopes of work and bid evaluations for engineering, equipment and materials.
• Manage engineering/design changes and associated cost/schedule impacts.
• Provide technical input into project estimates, schedules and cost-saving initiatives.
• Support fabrication, construction, commissioning and start-up activities.
• Visit fabrication shops and construction sites as required.
• Support project risk management, technical issue resolution and project closeout.
