Job summary

BMO is seeking a Senior Technical Lead to drive the design, delivery, stability, and continuous improvement of strategic enterprise platforms at a major North American bank. You will shape platforms with Generative AI, OpenSearch, Dynatrace, Oracle/SQL, and mainframe ecosystems.

You will lead cross-functional teams, set roadmaps, mentor engineers, and enhance security, compliance, and performance in a cloud-enabled enterprise environment.

Qualifications

5-7+ years in software development, platform engineering, or related tech roles.
Experience designing, building, and supporting enterprise-scale software.
Experience with Generative AI solutions and AI-powered automation.
Strong knowledge of observability, AI adoption, and enterprise platforms.

Responsibilities

Lead design, development, modernization, and optimization of platforms and applications.
Drive stability, scalability, security, and operational excellence across the tech stack.
Partner with stakeholders to define strategy, roadmaps, and execution plans.
Build innovative solutions using Generative AI to boost productivity and customer experience.
Mentor teams, lead SDLC activities, and promote engineering excellence.
