Job summary

Agilus by Synergie is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer for a hybrid role in Toronto, Ontario. The role focuses on building and sustaining Databricks on Azure within the enterprise data platform, collaborating with networking, security, and cloud teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions.

You will deploy and manage Azure data services, automate infrastructure, and contribute to platform standards while advancing CI/CD pipelines with GitHub.

Qualifications

Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Senior Platform Engineer in the Financial Industry in a hybrid work environment in Toronto, Ontario.

Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage Databricks environments on Azure as part of the enterprise data platform
• Support the deployment and management of Azure data services and platform infrastructure
• Work closely with Azure networking, cloud, and security teams to implement secure and reliable platform solutions
• Configure and manage Azure networking, connectivity, security controls, and related infrastructure
• Support Databricks Unity Catalog and associated platform capabilities
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and related tooling

Requirements:

• Partner with engineering and infrastructure teams to support data platform deployments and other Azure initiatives as required
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, deployment, and platform-related issues
• Contribute to platform standards, automation, operational processes, and continuous improvement
• Experience deploying and managing Databricks in Azure
• Understanding of cloud security principles and enterprise network environments
