Job summary

Agilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Developer - Platform Engineer in the Financial Industry in a hybrid work environment in Toronto, Ontario.

Responsibilities:

• Manage Kubernetes infrastructure across the Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) environment
• Support the design and development of platforms that enable MLOps, AI, and agentic applications
• Deploy and manage applications running on Kubernetes in production environments
• Use Helm and Argo CD for application and platform deployments
• Help establish scalable deployment patterns and operational standards for AI and agentic workloads
• Automate platform operations and improve the reliability and efficiency of Kubernetes deployments

Successful candidates will have:

• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production environments
• Experience building, deploying, managing, and troubleshooting Kubernetes clusters
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), particularly Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)
• Experience with Kubernetes application deployment using Helm
• Experience with Argo CD and GitOps-based deployment practices
• Strong troubleshooting skills across applications, containers, Kubernetes infrastructure, and cloud environments
• Experience maintaining and supporting production Kubernetes platforms
