Job summary

Velixo, a provider of Excel-native financial reporting tools, seeks a Lead Developer/Solutions Architect to own the Partner Portal and Billing/Admin Portal. You will define architecture, lead development across React/TypeScript and Node.js/Next.js, and ensure security and reliability across cloud deployments.

You will mentor engineers, implement integrations with HubSpot and ERPs, and drive operational excellence while maintaining production systems in EST hours.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software development experience with ownership of one or more production web applications.
• Strong full-stack proficiency: React/TypeScript on the front end and Node.js/Next.js on the back end.
• Experience designing and operating containerized services (Docker) and deploying to cloud infrastructure (Azure/AWS).
• Solid experience integrating with third-party APIs and SaaS platforms.
• Relational databases experience (PostgreSQL) and data model design for evolving needs.
• Track record as responsible technical owner for a system and shipping it to production.
• Understanding of authentication, authorization / RBAC and secure data handling.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication; EST core hours.

Responsibilities

• Own the Partner Portal and Billing/Admin Portal end-to-end — architecture, roadmap, delivery, quality, and day-to-day operations.
• Define and evolve the product architecture and ensure secure, scalable design across services.
• Write production code as a senior contributor across the stack (UI, services, data layer).
• Integrate with HubSpot CRM and ERP integrations (Acumatica, Dynamics, etc.).
• Own deployment, monitoring, and incident response for hosted applications across cloud providers.
