Job summary

Quix seeks a Senior Back-End Platform Engineer to design and build reliable service layers powering enterprise platforms and integration layers. You’ll define API contracts, data flows, and robust processing pipelines that scale and remain observable in production.

Ideal candidates bring deep REST API and event-driven patterns expertise, strong testing discipline, and experience with distributed systems across teams. Hybrid or on-site in enterprise environments is common.

Qualifications

• Back-end services experience in Node.js, .NET, Python, Go, or equivalent.
• Strong REST API design and event-driven architecture.
• Experience with relational and non-relational data stores.
• Reliability-focused design with idempotency and retry logic.
• Excellent cross-team communication and collaboration.
• Strong testing discipline: unit, integration, and contract tests.

Responsibilities

• Design and build RESTful and event-driven APIs for enterprise platform and integration use cases.
• Define service boundaries, data contracts, and integration patterns across distributed system components.
• Build data processing pipelines and workflow automation layers that move and transform enterprise data.
• Implement authentication, authorization, and audit patterns appropriate for enterprise environments.
• Collaborate with front-end engineers and integration architects to establish clean API contracts.
• Support observability integration: structured logging, distributed tracing, alerting, and incident readiness.
