Job summary

Velixo, headquartered in Montreal, Canada, is seeking a talented full-stack developer to contribute excellent design and coding skills within a fast-paced, customer- and quality-oriented team. This role focuses on business logic with a willingness to learn and adapt across technologies.

The UI will be a smaller portion of your time (about 10%), while most of your work (70%) centers on business logic and 20% on high-level design and user stories for new features.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• College/university degree in a STEM field; exceptional candidates without a degree considered.
• Good written English skills.
• Tech stack includes TypeScript and C# (ASP.NET Core 8); React is a plus; Docker, Nginx, AWS valuable.
• Business-oriented mindset: customer happiness and driving the company forward.
• Experience in ERP or accounting knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• New feature development with high-level user story shaping and stakeholder discussions.
• Bug fixing and testing your own code with unit and integration tests.
• Tech debt maintenance and refactoring to uphold engineering standards.
• Code reviews by selected engineers on the team.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines; occasional SSH into development/production servers.
