Job summary

WorleyCord is seeking a Senior Planner/Scheduler to join our project controls team in Edmonton or Calgary. You will create and maintain complex schedules, coordinate multi-disciplinary inputs, and drive schedule integrity across engineering, procurement, fabrication and construction activities.

The role requires extensive Primavera P6 experience, strong communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, heavy industrial environment.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or certified journeyperson in a relevant trade.
• 10+ years of demonstrable Primavera P6 experience in industrial settings.
• Experience planning/scheduling across engineering, procurement, fabrication and construction including bid proposals.
• Ability to read construction drawings and utilize 3D modelling tools like Navisworks.
• Proficiency in MS Office; strong communication in English.
• Knowledge of Acumen Fuse and PRA is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain master schedules (Level 2–5) based on project inputs from multiple departments.
• Develop and maintain resource-loaded project master schedules per the project WBS.
• Ensure schedule milestones are captured and aligned with basis.
• Coordinate with client and internal groups to develop turnover logic.
• Update schedules with progress tracking and align earned progress with updates.
• Conduct schedule risk analysis and monitor changes to the critical path.
• Coordinate with sub-contractors and vendors for schedule interfaces.
