Job summary

158 Primoris Fabrication LP (Canada) is seeking a Planner-Scheduler in Alberta to prepare project schedules for mid to large scale projects and assemble all elements for installation work packages. The role supports safe, efficient construction by coordinating schedules and resources with project teams.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering, 7–10 years of PM experience, and familiarity with Primavera or MS Project.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field preferred; equivalent work experience acceptable.
• Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) is an asset.
• 7–10 years of experience in construction project management.

Responsibilities

• Develop budgets, track progress, forecast costs, and prepare monthly reports for internal and client benchmarks.
• Create and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
• Coordinate with client representatives to gather schedule updates.
• Assist with weekly and monthly progress reports.
• Analyze specifications and workload data to determine resources and tools.
• Plan and schedule workflow per established guidelines and lead times.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to determine status.
• Assist with change order procedures and logging.
• Prepare internal cost reports and analyses for management.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
