Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an experienced Senior Planner to lead the development of project planning and scheduling strategies across disciplines. You will ensure full integration with engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning, including cost and change control processes.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree (engineering preferred) and 10+ years of planning experience, with advanced Primavera P6 skills and strong EVM knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; engineering degree preferred.
• 10+ years in project planning and scheduling in engineering/construction.
• Strong expertise in critical path analysis and progress measurement.
• Advanced Primavera P6 proficiency for integrated project controls.
• Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) and cost/change control.

Responsibilities

• Develop overall project planning and scheduling strategy including milestones.
• Ensure schedule integration across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning with cost control.
• Lead resource and budget loading and Primavera data management.
• Align schedule, cost, and progress with EVM systems.
• Issue schedules to internal and external stakeholders and track progress.
• Monitor schedule performance, variances, and earned value impacts.
• Lead change control management and drive continuous improvement.
• Provide technical leadership, coaching, and mentoring to junior planners.
