Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Canada is seeking an experienced Project Controls Planner to lead the development, maintenance, and control of project schedules for complex engineering and construction programs. You will manage baseline setup, schedule updates, logic reviews, and critical path analysis to support informed decision‑making.

This role requires mentoring junior planners, coordinating with cost controllers, and delivering progress and forecast reports that align with scope, cost, and governance

Qualifications

• University degree required with extensive cost control experience in engineering/construction environments.
• Hands‑on experience with project controls systems and reporting tools.
• Expert knowledge of project management techniques and earned value/schedule controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, maintenance, and control of project schedules including baseline setup, updates, and critical path analysis.
• Oversee resource and budget loading of schedules and ensure alignment with project scope, cost, and reporting requirements.
• Monitor progress against schedules, identify variances, risks, and impacts to milestones, and prepare forecast updates.
