Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Registered Pharmacy Technician to lead pharmacy support operations in Canada, coordinating with Pharmacists and Pharmacy Assistants to ensure accurate prescription processing and timely fulfillment.

The role involves labeling, filling, double-checking repeats, and maintaining inventory while collaborating with Innomar Strategies teams. Strong knowledge of pharmacy practice, bilingual English/French is a plus, and Lean Six Sigma concepts are beneficial.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy operations experience in a regulated healthcare setting.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy processes and drug distribution practices.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and teammates.

Responsibilities

• Assist Pharmacy Manager in day-to-day workload management.
• Collaborate with Pharmacists and Pharmacy Assistants to fulfill prescriptions.
• Label and fill/refill prescriptions with accuracy.
• Double-check repeat prescriptions independently.
• Verify prescriptions and identify potential therapeutic issues.
• Process billing, claims, and related documents in collaboration with teams.
• Assist patients at pickup and input data in computer systems.
• Assist with inventory management and shipping of orders.
• Report adverse events as per provincial standards.
