Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking an experienced Payroll Supervisor to lead multi-provincial payroll for Canada, ensuring compliance with CPP, EI, and tax withholdings. You will oversee hires, terminations, bonuses, and complex off-cycle payments while mentoring team members.

You will maintain expert knowledge of Canadian payroll legislation, file critical government reports, and partner with HR and Finance on compensation strategy.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive Canadian payroll experience with demonstrated multi-provincial expertise, including complex scenarios and Quebec-specific requirements.
• PLP certification required and strongly preferred.
• Expert knowledge of Canadian federal/provincial employment legislation, payroll regulations, and tax compliance.
• Experience configuring payroll systems (Workday, ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian Dayforce) and driving process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead accurate, timely multi-provincial payroll processing across all Canadian provinces and territories.
• Oversee the full payroll lifecycle including hires, terminations, salary adjustments, bonuses, commissions, and off-cycle payments.
• Provide training to managers and employees on timecard entry and payroll processes.
