Job summary

Portfolio Group in Downtown Toronto is seeking a Senior Payroll Advisor to own full-cycle payroll for a 750-employee workforce across provinces. Hybrid work in downtown Toronto; you will handle benefits administration and payroll reporting.

The ideal candidate has PCP designation and at least 5 years Canadian payroll experience, strong Excel, and customer service orientation; you’ll drive process improvements and ensure accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

• PCP designation required or in progress.
• Minimum 5+ years of Canadian multi-provincial payroll experience.
• Proficient in Excel for reporting and analytics.
• Experience with RRSP, DPSP and TFSA programs is a plus.
• Customer service oriented with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle payroll for a 750-employee multi-provincial workforce.
• Administer benefits programs including RRSP, DPSP and TFSA.
• Complete payroll reconciliations, remittances, garnishments, and year-end activities.
• Support payroll accounting and reporting needs.
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries with SME guidance.
• Collaborate with the team to improve payroll processes and efficiencies.
