Job summary

Lightspeed Commerce, Inc. is seeking an Account Executive for Payments to drive adoption of Lightspeed Payments within Lightspeed's North American merchant base. You will manage the full sales cycle, qualify opportunities, and close deals while collaborating with Onboarding and product teams.

You will act as the payments SME, relay merchant feedback to product management, and maintain Salesforce records. English proficiency is required; French is a plus.

Qualifications

• Direct payments experience with at least 3 years in the payments industry.
• 3+ years in a closing role focused on technology or solution sales.
• Proven ability to generate and qualify new opportunities proactively.
• History of meeting revenue targets or quotas.
• Excellent written and verbal English; French is a plus; English required.

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed sales targets for Lightspeed Payments adoption among existing merchants.
• Generate and manage sales opportunities from multiple sources and campaigns.
• Manage full sales cycle from qualification to pricing negotiation and closing.
• Partner with Onboarding to launch Lightspeed Payments for merchants.
• Serve as SME on payment processing and share knowledge with teams.
• Collect and relay merchant feedback to Product Management.
• Maintain accurate Salesforce records of activities and opportunities.
