Who We Are
Meroka is building the future of independent medicine in the United States. We provide operations, finance, tech, and strategic support to physician-owned practices-helping them grow sustainably and with soul. This is in addition to support for physicians transitioning ownership to the employees of the business.
We believe in clear communication, practical systems, thoughtful design, and long-term thinking. Our tone is warm, grounded, and confident-but never corporate or clinical.
This Role Is Not for You If…
- You prefer abstract strategy without rolling up your sleeves to execute
- You are uncomfortable working directly with physicians and practice owners where credibility must be established within seconds
- You rely only on analysis without the EQ to adapt to nuanced, high stakes conversations
- You avoid details and documentation, leaving handoffs incomplete
- You prefer slow moving environments instead of fast paced deal cycles
What You’ll Do
- Deal Evaluation and Structuring: Lead diligence and structure deal terms that reflect clinical, financial, and human dynamics of practices
- Insights Driven Analysis: Build financial models and decks that are insightful and intentional, surfacing the “so what” behind data, not just the data itself
- Relationship and Trust Builder: Support conversations with professionalism, humility, and presence, earning credibility with physicians and staff quickly
- Cross Functional Partnership: Collaborate with finance, product, and enablement to ensure each deal is realistic, scalable, and strategically aligned
- Knowledge Sharing and Curiosity: Capture insights from every deal to improve Meroka’s playbooks and feed into product, operations, and finance strategy
- Seamless Handoff: Document and support clean transitions from transaction to integration so the Enablement team receives everything needed for success
We’re Looking For Someone Who…
- Has several years of experience in consulting, investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or healthcare strategy
- Brings strong modeling and analytical skills but knows how to frame insights with clarity and impact
- Understands what makes deals work and adapts structures creatively while staying mission aligned
- Connects quickly with partners and reads nuance in high pressure, physician facing situations
- Communicates clearly across teams and documents rigorously so nothing slips in fast moving cycles
- Thrives in founder driven, high growth environments where speed and precision matter equally
What We Offer
- Competitive compensation and health benefits
- Unlimited vacation and flexible working arrangements
- The chance to work on the front lines of Meroka’s growth, shaping how independent practices transition to employee ownership
- Exposure to senior leadership and direct experience in corporate development deals
- A thoughtful, ambitious team that values rigor, empathy, and long term relationships
Additional Notes
- This role will require occasional travel to the USA and Canada for on-site campaigns, team collaboration, and brand activations. All travel will be coordinated and supported by the Meroka team.
How To Apply
- Send us your CV and a brief note summarizing your deal, strategy, or partnerships experience. Bonus points if you include a Loom video walking us through a project, model, or transaction you have supported, highlighting both the analysis and the human side.
