Looking for an opportunity to make a real impact? We’re currently recruiting for a Senior Operations Manager to join our amazing team of talented employees. This role will support the BC Region, so we’re ideally looking for a candidate in the BC Lower Mainland.

What you do:

Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Senior Operations Manager is the direct supervisor for Regional Operations Managers. The Senior Operations Manager provides operational support, training, and development for the team and takes a lead role in new restaurant openings and re-sales across the country.

In this role, you will be expected to:

  1. Act as the escalation contact for franchisees which includes ensuring adherence to brand standards and discussing restaurant escalations with the Regional Operations Manager who reports to them, assisting in resolution efforts;
  2. Support The Franchisee Review Process in collaboration with the Training Team and Franchising Department to ensure the incoming and expansion of multi-unit franchisees are successfully prepared for turnover. The Senior Operations Manager will also help lead in various aspects of new Franchisee training;
  3. Conduct shadow shifts with Regional Operations Managers to ensure consistency in assessment scoring, coaching, and Franchisee support;
  4. Provide coaching, leadership and guidance to Regional Operations Managers, providing quarterly development sessions and conducting semi-annual performance reviews of their team to gauge role satisfaction, support personal development, and manage performance.
Who you are:
  1. You have a Post-secondary Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Management or related field experience;
  2. You have prior food and beverage experience and a passion for leading a team, including 3-5 years of experience as a Regional Operations Manager; or Multi-unit Restaurant Manager;
  3. You are organized and can create accountability through consistent follow-up;
  4. You may have Food Safety Certification, Alcohol Certification, First Aid, and/or WHMIS certification;
  5. You have knowledge of point-of-sale systems, food and beverage inventory and labour forecasting programs;
  6. You have working knowledge of Social Media Platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.);
  7. You have strong communication (written, verbal and presentation), influencing without authority, active listening, customer service, Microsoft Office suite, prioritization, and organization skills;
  8. You can multi-task, manage change, are self-disciplined, results driven, and have a positive attitude and energy;
  9. You have a passion for the industry with the “hospitality gene.”
  10. You must be willing and able to travel.
