Job summary

Business Development Bank of Canada is seeking a Senior Business Advisor, Operations, to deliver high-impact consulting projects helping entrepreneurs improve performance and growth. The role focuses on operational efficiency, lean improvements, and end-to-end project execution within a hybrid Canadian work model.

The candidate will lead engagements, develop pragmatic solutions for SMEs, and collaborate with client partners to transfer knowledge and identify new opportunities.

Qualifications

• MBA or relevant professional designation is considered an asset.
• Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management or related field is required or preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of consulting experience with emphasis on operational efficiency and business transformation.

Responsibilities

• Lead standard and tailor-made consulting mandates for clients.
• Deliver solutions in Operational Assessments, plant layout optimization and process improvements.
• Manage project scope, budget, timelines and deliverables with QA checks.
• Act as a recognized expert in operational efficiency and stay updated on trends.
• Support business development by assessing client needs and developing proposals.
