The National Capital Commission is seeking a Senior Officer, Accounting to ensure the accuracy and integrity of accounting records, with a focus on the general ledger and fixed assets. You will perform reconciliations, contribute to financial statements, assist with treasury functions and support year-end activities.
The role requires a degree in accounting/finance, GAAP knowledge, and experience in financial reporting and audits.
The position is classified as a RÉ-05 ($77,281 to $102,535 per annum – under review).
A list of qualified people will be compiled and may be used for additional temporary or indeterminate positions.
As a Senior Officer, Accounting, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, reliability and integrity of accounting records, with a primary focus on the general ledger and fixed assets subsidiary ledger. Working closely with the Manager Accounting, you will perform account reconciliations, contribute to the preparation of financial reports and the NCC’s financial statements, perform treasury management functions and support year-end audit activities.
A degree from a recognized university with an acceptable specialization in accounting, finance, business administration or commerce, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
