Job summary

Bruce Power is seeking a Technical Officer to provide technical evaluations and proposals across multiple work areas in the Life Extension and related projects. The role involves preparing technical documentation, cost justifications and coordinating execution with supervisors and external partners.

The successful candidate will have a 4-year technical degree in Engineering, Math or Science, plus substantial experience in safety analysis, engineering and large nuclear projects.

Qualifications

• 4-year technical degree in Engineering, Mathematics or Science.
• Experience in safety analysis and engineering.
• 6+ years in utilities sector, 8 years max for required exposure.
• Experience in large nuclear projects is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical evaluations and advice across major work areas for commissioning, operation and maintenance.
• Prepares reports, cost justifications and documentation for proposals and approvals.
• Supervises staff periodically and communicates with internal/external stakeholders.
• Keeps procedures current and coordinates implementation of approved solutions.
