Job summary

Aecon Group Inc. in Cambridge, Ontario, is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead procurement and supply chain activities across all phases of a major nuclear project.

You will integrate procurement into project planning, identify risks, qualify suppliers, and ensure timely, compliant, and cost-effective delivery of materials and services. As a PMT member, you will drive supplier performance, coordinate with Engineering and Quality, and manage contracts, negotiations, and risk allocation to meet

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in supply chain, engineering, or business.
• SCMP, CPSM or equivalent certification considered an asset.
• 10+ years of progressive procurement/supply chain experience in EPC or major infrastructure projects.
• Experience in nuclear or highly regulated industries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of the project procurement strategy aligned with execution model.
• Identify long-lead materials and key subcontract scopes early in the project lifecycle.
• Define sourcing strategies including bids and strategic partnerships.
• Lead supplier qualification and audits ensuring QA and regulatory compliance.
• Manage end-to-end procurement activities from bidding to award.
