Job summary

Porter is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to improve the reliability, scalability, and performance of a modern cloud platform serving thousands of users. This hands-on role collaborates with Software Developers, Cloud Engineers, and Cybersecurity to automate operations and build observability.

The ideal candidate has a strong software development background (especially .NET), production troubleshooting skills, and experience with AWS, Dynatrace, Splunk, and IaC.

Qualifications

• Strong software development experience in .NET (C#) or similar OO language.
• Experience supporting production applications in AWS.
• Familiarity with monitoring and incident response tooling.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve reliability of production services.
• Troubleshoot production issues with developers from triage to root cause.
• Develop automation to reduce repetitive tasks.
• Maintain IaC and cloud automation across compute, networking, and identity.
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident response.
• Configure and maintain monitoring and alerting (Dynatrace, Splunk).
