Job summary

Redwood Software in Markham, Ontario is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to manage day-to-day system alerts, monitor health, and participate in 24x7 on-call rotations for a high-availability SaaS platform.

You will lead incident response, perform thorough RCAs, implement automated remediation, and collaborate with engineering to enforce SLOs and error budgets while evolving CI/CD pipelines and IaC-driven cloud infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Cloud Infra for production SaaS.
• Hands-on AWS experience with IAM, networking, and multi-account designs.
• Expertise in EKS/Kubernetes, IaC (Terraform/Helm), and container orchestration.
• Proficient in Linux, Bash and Python scripting for automation.
• Strong observability with Datadog, Grafana/Prometheus, logs and metrics.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day management of system alerts and maintain high availability.
• Participate in 24x7 on-call rotations and lead incident response.
• Perform root cause analyses and blameless post-mortems for improvements.
• Enforce SLOs and error budgets in collaboration with Engineering.
• Automate operational tasks and enhance CI/CD pipelines and IaC.
