Job summary

iA Financial Group is seeking a versatile Application Programmer Analyst (.NET) to join the Agent Compensation sector within the Odyssey Train. You will join a multidisciplinary Agile team delivering robust, high-performing solutions and contributing to design, development, evolution, and support of critical business systems.

As a Programmer Analyst, you will work with analysts, architects, developers, and partners to create secure, scalable solutions, participate in Agile ceremonies, and help

Qualifications

• College diploma or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
• Five+ years of software development experience in a Microsoft environment.
• Ability to analyze complex problems and propose pragmatic solutions.
• Strong collaboration within multidisciplinary teams.
• High level of autonomy, accountability, and professional rigor.
• Interest in continuous learning and AI integration in development practices.
• Experience with C#, .NET Framework/Core, SQL Server, Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, and Git.
• Knowledge of OO programming and Agile/SAFe environments.
• Excellent command of French, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Participate in analysis, design, development, and evolution of Microsoft-based solutions.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize .NET applications and SQL Server.
• Collaborate with analysts, architects, developers, and partners to meet business needs.
• Contribute to technical direction while following standards and guidelines.
• Perform unit testing and contribute to QA activities.
• Participate in code reviews and share knowledge within the team.
• Provide application support and resolve production incidents.
• Maintain up-to-date technical and functional documentation.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure quality, security, and sustainability of delivered solutions.
• Option to participate in on-call support on a voluntary basis.
