Job summary

MDOS Consulting is seeking a Senior Programmer/Analyst for a client engagement in Ottawa. The role requires English language proficiency, Reliability security clearance, and a hybrid work model with three days in the office and two days remotely.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience developing enterprise-level Java-based web applications, with deep expertise in J2EE, Spring Frameworks, SpringBoot, JSP, JMS, AJAX, JavaScript, XML, JSON, SQL, and SOAP/REST Web Services, plus Java 11+

Qualifications

• Must have more than 10 years of experience in enterprise Java-based web apps.
• Minimum of ten years within last 15 years as Programmer Analyst.
• Minimum of three years in J2EE, Spring Frameworks, SpringBoot, JSP, JMS, AJAX, JavaScript, Junit, XML, JSON, SQL, and Web Services.

Job description

We are looking for a Senior Programmer/Analyst for our client who meets the following criteria:

• Language: English.
• Security Clearance: Reliability.
• Location of Work: Hybrid – 3 days/week at the office and 2 days/week virtually.
• Mandatory requirements:
  • Must have more than 10 years of experience.
  • Must have a minimum of ten (10) years of work experience within the last fifteen (15) years as a Programmer Analyst developing enterprise-level, Java-based web applications.
  • Must have a minimum of three (3) years of experience in each of the following technologies developing web applications: J2EE, Spring Frameworks, SpringBoot, JSP, JMS, AJAX, JavaScript, Junit, XML, JSON, SQL, Web Services (SOAP and RESTful), Enterprise-level application servers, OpenID Connect / OAuth 2.
  • Must have work experience developing web applications using the following technologies: Java 11 or higher.
  • Must have a minimum of three (3) years of work experience as a Programmer Analyst on teams with a minimum of three (3) developers.
