Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Project Manager for our Transportation team in Toronto or Markham, Ontario. You will lead multi-disciplinary teams on municipal infrastructure projects, manage budgets and client relationships, and drive business development while aligning with Stantec’s standards for quality and safety.

The role requires a registered P.Eng. in Ontario with 15+ years of relevant experience, and a proven track record in City of Toronto projects and proposal writing.

Qualifications

• Registered Professional Engineer in Ontario with 15+ years of municipal infrastructure project management experience.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, communication and client relationships skills.
• Experience in municipal infrastructure design and City of Toronto projects is a plus.
• Experience with report and proposal writing.

Responsibilities

• Directing design staff and managing multi-discipline project teams.
• Financial management including budget forecasting, resource management and invoicing.
• Developing proposals, budgets, schedules and client liaison.
• Collaborating with Transportation Leaders to identify staffing and equipment needs.
• Promoting quality management and safety programs.
• Delivering progress reports and stakeholder presentations.
• Building a culture of quality design and teamwork.
• Carrying out other duties as assigned.
