Responsibilities :

• Underwrite A, B, and C mortgage applications, including coordinating the preparation of approval packages with support staff for borrowers to sign.
• Advise clients on the best mortgage options and negotiate with lenders and borrowers for optimal pricing.
• Collaborate with lenders, clients, lawyers, appraisers, and support staff.
• Ensure compliance for all funded deals.
• Evaluate, analyze, and review each mortgage application to demonstrate strong credit decision-making and sound risk assessments.
• Coordinate document collection with support staff and evaluate the documentation effectively.

About You :

• 3+ years of mortgage underwriting experience.
• Ability to perform under pressure, with excellent customer service, organizational, and multi-tasking skills.
• Familiarity with Velocity / Filogix software.
• Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills.
• Licensed Mortgage Agent Level 2.
