Job summary

Cohere is seeking a Senior Mobile Engineer to build and ship features for North, our AI workspace platform. You will collaborate with UI/UX designers and productionize state-of-the-art models while keeping security and privacy at the forefront.

We value engineers who can bootstrap new projects, read and fix issues across codebases, and thrive in fast-paced environments. Experience with Swift/SwiftUI or Kotlin/Jetpack Compose is preferred.

We're seeking iOS and Android experts to join our close-knit team, where you'll drive exceptional impact on mission-critical projects.

As a Senior Mobile Engineer, you will:

• Build and ship features for North, our AI workspace platform

• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement interface elements

• As security and privacy are paramount, you will sometimes need to re-invent the wheel, and won't be able to use the most popular libraries or tooling

• Collaborate with researchers to productionize state-of-the-art models and techniques

• Research new technologies and best practices

You may be a good fit if you:

• Have extensive experience with either Swift and SwiftUI or Kotlin with Jetpack Compose

• Built native applications for AI companies and/or built apps loved by many users

• You're able to read and understand, and even fix issues outside of the main codebase

• You have experience bootstrapping new projects

• You excel in fast-paced environments and can execute while priorities and objectives are a moving target

• Bonus: you've worked on audio features for apps

Compensation:

• For candidates based in Canada, the compensation range is: $215,000 - $310,000
