Job summary

BitGo is seeking a Senior Mobile Software Engineer to build the apps our retail users use to manage and move digital assets.

You will own features from design through release, with a focus on security, performance, and a polished experience on both iOS and Android.

Qualifications

• Interest in cryptocurrency and blockchain technology.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Solid grasp of the mobile development life cycle, from design through release and post-launch monitoring.
• React Native with TypeScript.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and handling offline state, caching, and error recovery.
• Working knowledge of TypeScript and modern JavaScript, or ability to pick it up quickly if background is native.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and algorithm skills.
• Native iOS with Swift5+ years of professional mobile development, with at least one app shipped to the App Store or Google Play.
• Strong testing habits across unit, integration, and UI tests.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Native Android with Kotlin.
• Mobile security experience: secure storage, certificate pinning, jailbreak and root detection, biometric authentication, or app attestation.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs.
• Experience in the crypto industry.
• Familiarity with digital wallets, cryptographic signing, clearing and settlement, lending, trading, or accounting systems
