Job summary
Arcadis is seeking an experienced Senior Mining Geotechnical Engineer to join our Canadian Mine Sector team to support clients across British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Ontario, Quebec and Canada’s three territories. This is a client‑facing, technical role requiring 15-20 years of direct mining sector geotechnical engineering experience.

Qualifications
- MSc in civil/geotechnical engineering from an accredited university.
- 15–20 years of mining geotechnical experience.
- Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in a Canadian province/territory.
- Experience with tailings facilities, dam engineering, and waste rock management.
- Strong client engagement and project leadership.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver tailings and waste rock investigations and designs.
- Prepare technical reports and work plans; evaluate tailings facilities.
- Provide technical oversight as Engineer of Record or Deputy EoR.
- Lead junior staff and coordinate resources across projects.
- Support permitting, regulatory compliance, and business development.
