Job summary

Arcadis is seeking an experienced Mine Water Specialist to join our Canadian Mine Sector team to support client’s technical mine water and treatment needs in British Columbia, Saskatchewan and Ontario.

This client-facing, technical role requires direct mine water management experience and strong written and verbal communication to work with project managers, laboratories and external stakeholders across multiple provinces.

Qualifications

• MSc in environmental, civil, or chemical/process engineering or related field.
• P.Eng., P.Geo., or P.Chem. required for practice in the province.
• Strong written and verbal communication of technical work.

Responsibilities

• Assess mine-site hydrogeology, surface and groundwater management, and geochemistry.
• Plan and implement bench- and pilot-scale treatability studies.
• Develop basis-of-design for water management and treatment.
• Coordinate site investigations to inform planning and design.
