Job summary

EllisDon Corporation is seeking a Senior MEP Manager in Ontario to lead the MEP team from design through turnover to Facility Management. You will drive constructability reviews, coordinate design-build procurement, and ensure rigorous risk and interface management across all on-site MEP activities.

The role requires a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems, with 10+ years of relevant experience, and the ability to guide project teams on budget and schedule, ensuring alignment

Qualifications

• Construction or engineering degree (or equivalent hands-on experience).
• 10+ years of mechanical and electrical construction experience.
• Experience on Design‑Build projects.
• Background in automotive or industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of current MEP systems, principles, and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage project MEP staff to ensure conformance to contract documents from conception through turnover to Facility Management.
• Support project team through preconstruction activities to align with procurement model.
• Recommend and implement alternate procurement strategies.
• Provide constructability and value engineering reviews.
• Provide planning capabilities including interface and risk management for schedule development and coordination.
• Coordinate all on-site MEP activities and ensure proper commissioning processes.
