Job summary

EllisDon in Edmonton is seeking an M&E Coordinator to coordinate mechanical and electrical scopes on-site, ensuring compliance with specifications, drawings and codes. You will plan, direct and coordinate on-site mechanical & electrical activities and manage technical interfaces across trades.

This role requires two to three years of mechanical and electrical construction experience and a degree or diploma in a related field.

Qualifications

• Two to three years of mechanical and electrical construction experience.
• Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering systems, principles and practices.
• Ability to proactively identify and document problems/conflicts and resolve them.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate on-site mechanical & electrical activities to comply with specifications, drawings and codes.
• Assist Project Managers and Superintendents in updating schedules, RFIs and shop drawings, and manage completion requirements.
• Assist and generate an M&E schedule for trades, coordinating with the project schedule.
• Maintain communication with M&E sub-trades and ensure deliverables and deadlines are met.
• Track installation in the field and align with milestone dates on the schedule.
