Job summary

Maple Reinders is seeking an experienced Mechanical Superintendent for the Duffin Creek WPCP project in Pickering, Ontario. You will oversee field staff, field engineering, and field teams to deliver projects in Water/Wastewater, Food & Beverage processing, and Clean Energy sectors.

Strong leadership and a proven track record in managing multi-trade crews are essential. The role requires travel or on-site presence near Pickering, with 3–5 years of superintendent experience and a CET, Red Seal,

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of construction experience as a superintendent with a GC or multi-trade contractor
• Experience with Water/Wastewater, Food & Beverage, or Clean Energy projects
• Digester experience would be considered a strong asset
• Post-secondary education CET or equivalent, or a Red Seal Trade certification in a related field
• Proficiency with MS Office and Windows-based applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project)
• Ability to manage site operations on complex projects >$20 million
• Strong mechanical acumen

Responsibilities

• Direct field operations: ensure schedules, budgets, safety and risk management
• Lead and develop field staff, communicate between field and project staff
• Develop and execute project work plans to keep projects on track and on budget
• Provide senior field presence, coach staff on issue resolution, and mentor team
