Job summary

Impact Recruitment is seeking a Mechanical Service Manager for a reputable Vancouver-area mechanical contractor. You will oversee service operations, lead a team of technicians, and ensure safe, efficient, and profitable delivery across commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities.

Based in Vancouver or surrounding areas, the role offers strong exposure to repeat clients, opportunities to grow the business pipeline, and a collaborative environment with ownership access.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience as a Mechanical Service Manager.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Comfortable managing projects through full lifecycle delivery.
• Experience in commercial tenant improvement projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the mechanical service department, delivering work safely, efficiently and profitably.
• Manage and develop service technicians, coordinators and admin staff, including scheduling and performance management.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance, repairs and emergency service across facilities.
• Maintain strong client relationships and support business development opportunities.
• Review service requests, allocate labor, material and resources, and ensure timely delivery.
• Monitor contracts and department profitability, optimize costs and revenue.
