Job summary

AtkinsRéalis Canada Inc. is seeking a Mechanical Designer to join our Western Canada team, supporting diverse national and international projects across Healthcare, Industrial, and Transportation sectors.

You will manage designs, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to proposals while mentoring junior staff. Ideal candidates hold a Mechanical Engineering degree, P.Eng or equivalent, and 10+ years of consulting experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and P.Eng registration or willingness to obtain.
• 10+ years in engineering consulting with progressive responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of project management and client-facing roles.

Responsibilities

• Manage mechanical and multi-disciplinary project deliverables to scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
• Lead business development activities including proposal writing and client relationships.
• Develop and maintain project management governance and processes.
• Mentor team members and promote leadership and technical excellence.
