Job summary

AtkinsRéalis seeks a Mechanical Designer to join our Western Canadian Engineering group, based in Vancouver, with opportunities across Canada. You will manage mechanical and multi-disciplinary deliverables, ensuring scope, schedule, budget and quality targets while supporting project management and design governance.

You bring a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, P.Eng, and 10+ years in engineering consulting, with strong client relations, leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and P.Eng registration.
• PMP or CAPM designation or willingness to obtain within 6 months.
• Minimum 10 years of engineering consulting experience with progressive responsibilities.
• Strong client-facing skills and ability to build long-term client relationships.
• Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage mechanical and multi-disciplinary project deliverables within scope, schedule, budget and quality.
• Lead and support business development including proposal writing and client relationships.
• Develop and maintain processes to support project management governance.
• Collaborate with other disciplines and communicate status to stakeholders.
• Use AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam and MS Office to prepare deliverables.
