115,000.00 / yr - $125,000.00 / yr

Our client is seeking a Senior Mechanical Project Engineer for an excellent on-site position located in the Louisville, KY area. Responsibilities include :

• Managing projects and customers within the mechanical engineering team, ensuring streamlined operations, delivery, and effectiveness.
• Overseeing procurement for mechanical engineering and material handling.
• Leading larger projects, communicating between customers and internal teams.
• Preparing proposals, drawings, layouts, and schematics.
• Monitoring and communicating project schedules, pre-construction activities, costs, and suppliers.
• Mentoring other engineering team members and assisting with their development.

Qualifications and Experience :

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of engineering experience, including mechanical and project engineering.
• Knowledge of equipment and vendor selection process.
• Experience in warehouse design, automation, conveyor systems, or structural / steel design is a plus.
• Proficiency with Autodesk and AutoCAD.
• Willingness to travel 5-10%.
