The Opportunity

We aim to deliver a high-quality, reliable 24x7 Payment Acceptance Platform via a SaaS model. The Senior Tools Engineer is responsible for designing, creating, and maintaining the software engineering tools used to manage the platform and its supporting systems. They work closely with developers, QA, and operations teams to identify, implement, document, and sustain automated build, deployment, configuration, testing, and integration tools. The role involves working with technologies ranging from mobile development (Android/iOS) to backend and frontend technologies like C# and Java. We are a fast-paced and dynamic company seeking team members who are up for a challenge.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Act as a key part of a multi-team effort to deliver, manage, and maintain automation tools such as CI/CD pipelines, automated testing solutions, and configuration/deployment management.
  • Translate requirements into reliable, scalable, and maintainable automation systems for implementation by yourself and your peers.
  • Develop your skills as a technical mentor through peer reviews and collaborative engineering practices.
  • Coordinate with production operations teams for troubleshooting and occasional system maintenance.
  • Contribute to platform quality and maintainability by scripting automation, managing tools, and ensuring solutions are automated, repeatable, and well-documented.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a software development-related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in software development tools, deployment, or operations.
  • Motivated team players with excellent communication skills and a desire to learn new technologies.
  • Substantial knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using tools like Bamboo, Octopus, Jenkins, Ansible, and cloud platforms like GCP, AWS, and Azure.
  • Experience with software development practices and tools such as GIT, Maven, Ant, Visual Studio/MSBuild, CMake, Android Studio, and other environments.
  • Ability to script in PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar languages.
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle frameworks like Scrum.
