Strike in Evans, CO is seeking a Senior Mechanical Estimator to independently develop accurate estimates for piping, mechanical, welding, equipment setting and facility work.

You will read drawings, perform takeoffs, evaluate vendor quotes, coordinate with project teams, and support bid strategy to secure profitable, buildable work.

Travel for pre-bid walks may be required. 5+ years of midstream estimating and a related Bachelor's degree are preferred; AACEI CEP or PMP is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or related field preferred.
• 5+ years estimating experience in midstream oil & gas.
• Professional certifications such as AACEI CEP or PMP preferred.

Aufgaben

• Develop complete and accurate mechanical estimates from drawings, specifications and bid documents.
• Perform detailed takeoffs for piping, welding, equipment, valves, and structural components.
• Analyze drawings for constructability issues, scope gaps and quantity discrepancies.
• Prepare labor build-ups using production rates, crew compositions and historical data.
• Solicit, evaluate, and normalize vendor and subcontractor quotes.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and job walks to assess site conditions and risks.
