Job summary

The Mirillion Group is aiding a well‑established Canadian engineering consultancy to recruit a Manager, Mechanical Engineering for the Toronto office. This senior role combines leadership with ongoing hands‑on technical work across HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and process systems.

The successful candidate will own the practice, drive growth, and mentor a multidisciplinary team while maintaining high design quality and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• P.Eng. in Ontario and 15+ years in engineering consultancy.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and project delivery.
• Strong proposals, client relationships, and performance under budgets.

Responsibilities

• Build, direct, and mentor a multidisciplinary group of mechanical engineers, designers, and technical specialists.
• Set project staffing plans and deploy resources to meet milestones and client commitments.
• Author and roll out internal design guidelines and department standards.
