Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering required.
• P.E. license or equivalent certification required.
• Minimum of 7 years of engineering experience, preferably in consulting.
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles and design standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct complex engineering assignments with minimal supervision.
• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams for HVAC, plumbing, fire protection and controls.
• Develop design standards to lower costs and improve quality.
• Mentor junior staff and manage project budgets and schedules.
• Prepare progress reports, estimate costs, and recommend payments.
• Communicate with clients and maintain strong relationships.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering

Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or equivalent certification
