Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Mechanical Engineering for industrial, commercial, or institutional buildings.
• Familiarity with the LEED accreditation process is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the design and complete load calculations.
• Manage projects from design through construction.
• Ensure ASHRAE and LEED compliance where applicable.

Skills

Strong background in Building Design with mechanical systems

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Ability to meet deadlines

Self-motivated

Knowledge of applicable codes and standards

Education

Post-secondary degree in Mechanical Engineering

Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
