Job summary

Tower Engineering Group is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Calgary office. This role blends technical leadership with mentorship, guiding engineers, designers, technologists, and drafters while coordinating workloads and ensuring the Mechanical Department delivers high-quality work.

You will mentor staff, provide technical direction, and take an active role in the design and delivery of building mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Manitoba.
• At least 10 years of relevant building mechanical systems experience.

Responsibilities

• Mentor junior and senior engineers, designers, technologists, and drafting staff.
• Lead design reviews and ensure technical quality across projects.
• Coordinate workloads, priorities, and schedules within the Mechanical Department.
• Provide technical direction for HVAC, plumbing, fire protection and building services.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to deliver integrated mechanical systems.
• Engage in site investigations and project meetings as required.
