Placements24 is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead the design, analysis, and validation of new mechanical products in Kimberley. You will drive from concept to commercialization, perform advanced analyses with FEA tools, and maintain meticulous specifications and BOMs.

You will mentor junior engineers, collaborate with manufacturing to optimize cost-effective production, and uphold high standards of performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in mechanical product development.
• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Expertise in CAD (SolidWorks, Creo) and FEA simulation tools.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects to meet deadlines.
• Strong materials science and manufacturing process knowledge.

Key Responsibilities
