Job summary

Carmichael Engineering in Calgary is seeking an experienced Project Engineer (HVAC) to lead design, calculations, and project execution. The role focuses on HVAC performance, compliance, and closeout, working with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders to deliver successful projects.

Ideal candidate has a P.Eng designation in Ontario or Alberta and 10–15+ years of HVAC experience, with proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and project management tools. On-site involvement is expected in Calgary.

Qualifications

• P.Eng designation in Alberta or Ontario is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 10–15+ years of HVAC design, calculation, and project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Review HVAC tender requirements and ensure compliance with project specs.
• Oversee HVAC design, calculations, and shop drawings.
• Develop project schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
• Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders for project delivery.
• Prepare closeout documentation and ensure smooth turnover to service and sales.
