Job summary

ALTEN CANADA is seeking an experienced 3D CAD designer to work on water treatment projects across industrial sectors. You will develop complex equipment layouts, produce high-quality 3D models, fabrication drawings, isometrics, and BOMs while collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams.

• SolidWorks experience required.
• Experience with piping systems: Water Treatment or Oil & Gas.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates strong expertise in 3D systems or Balance of Plant (BOP) design, with the ability to develop complex equipment layouts independently.
• Produces high-quality 3D models and detailed design packages with minimal supervision.
• Collaborates within multi-disciplinary project teams to support engineering efforts across various phases.
• Develops comprehensive 3D CAD documentation for water and wastewater treatment systems, including fabrication drawings, piping layouts and isometrics, BOMs.
