Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience in design is preferred.
• Knowledge of 3D and 2D design software is essential.

Responsibilities

Lycopodium is currently recruiting for a Senior Mechanical Designer to join our growing Engineering team in Mississauga, Ontario. Reporting to the Chief Designer, the Senior Mechanical Designer will work under the guidance of senior design staff to produce 3D models and drawings on schedule and within budget.

1. The tasks you'll perform
2. 3D modelling and 2D drawing creation based on guidance and support from senior staff
3. The expertise you'll bring
4. An approved diploma qualification in their discipline (Junior) and/or at least 5 years of industry experience in design (Designer)
5. Knowledge of 3D and 2D design software and concepts
6. Knowledge of Bentley Microstation, Triforma, or AecoSim software (experience preferred)
7. Experience in mining/minerals processing design (preferred)
8. Knowledge of engineering design office workflows (preferred)
